An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

We are looking for individuals who can be flexible and responsive to the needs of the children and the school. We invite those who are energetic and enthusiastic, can contribute to our team, and work on their own initiative. Candidates must be willing to undertake CPD courses that relate to the needs of the children and the school.
Previous experience working in a wide range of school settings is desirable. The successful candidates can be allocated to any SNA role in the school at any time, at the discretion of the school principal.
The position is subject to NCSE allocation and SENO review. The appointment is subject to current Garda Vetting requirements, Occupational Health Screening, and satisfactory references.
Applicants who are deemed to be members of the SNA Supplementary Panel with supplementary panel rights must furnish a certified copy of a completed Panel Form (PF1) with their application.
Applications will be accepted by email only. Applications to be received by 2 p.m. on 21st July 2026.
Candidates being called for an interview will be notified via email. Please note that only applicants who are called to interview will receive correspondence by email.
