An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

We are advertising for 2 positions.
1 Fixed Term in SET
1 Substitute position from Aug - June, covering parental leave on the Supply Panel, serving a number of schools in the surrounding area.
St Colman’s National School is a Catholic Primary School committed to fostering a warm, inclusive and child-centred learning environment. The successful candidates will be expected to contribute positively to the ethos and demonstrate a willingness to upskill and embrace the revised Primary Curriculum. The successful candidates will also be expected to uphold the Catholic ethos of the school.
Appointment will be subject to Garda Vetting,Occupational Health Screening, completion of the online Tusla Child Safeguarding Training, and satisfactory references.
Initial duties may be subject to change. Interviews are expected to take place week commencing July 27th 2026. These positions will commence on August 26th 2026.
