Additional Information:
St Mary’s School in Rochestown provides education for children aged 4–18 years with a Mild Intellectual Disability and Autism with a co-occuring Mild/Moderate Intellectual Disability.
We are currently seeking Bus Escorts for the 2026–2027 school year.
Role Description
Accompany pupils on transport to and from their homes and St Mary’s School each day.
Work mornings and afternoons, Monday to Friday, term time only.
Ensure pupil safety and wellbeing while on board, including:
Assisting children getting on and off the bus/taxi
Securing seat belts and other safety equipment
Supporting care needs as required
Complete relevant training for any medical needs.
Requirements
Relevant experience working with children is highly desirable.
Garda vetting and suitable references are essential.
