An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

2 of these positions are for an infant day. The 3rd position is the 2nd half of a job sharing arrangement. The applicants may be assigned to a special class.

Experience of working with children with autism is desired. The successful candidate should show willingness to work as part of a team and participate in school activities. They should also demonstrate a willingness to avail of further training and will be expected to respect the dignity and confidentiality of the pupils at all times.

Pupils will return on 27h of August, however, SNAs may be asked to come in earlier that week for induction and preparation for the new school year.

All SNA positions are subject to NCSE allocation and SENO review.
