An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
We are advertising for 3 standard SNA positions for 26/27. One of the positions is full time and the other two positions are 0.83. (infant day)
We are a Catholic DEIS Band 1 mainstream primary school with three Special Classes.
There are 25 mainstream teachers, 16 support teachers and 16 SNAs in our school.
We are a Junior school who are committed to Restorative Practise and strive to be Trauma Aware. Love, Laughter and Learning are at the forefront of everything we do.
Applicants must demonstrate an energetic, enthusiatic and flexible attitude with an ability to work well within a team and using their own initiative. Experience of working with pupils with a variety of special educational needs and appropriate qualifications in the areas of SNA are advantageous. As are additional qualifications or courses e.g. First Aid, Manual handling, Lámh etc.
All school staff are expected to engage in relevant CPD, and respect our ethos.
Appointments are subject to current Garda vetting and occupational health screening.
