An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Fixed-Term Mainstream Class Teacher up to Friday 23rd October 2026.
The appointment will be on a fixed-term basis from 28th August 2026 to 23rd October 2026. Continuation of the post beyond this date is strictly subject to:
• Confirmation from the Department of Education that the post is retained following enrolment verification and redeployment procedures; and
• Compliance with all relevant staffing and redeployment circulars, including Circular 0025/2026.
Should the post be confirmed as remaining in place following enrolment verification and completion of redeployment procedures, it will be required to be filled through the Department of Education Supplementary Panel process, where applicable, in accordance with Circular 0025/2026.
