Candidates should be energetic, enthusiastic, flexible, able to work on their own initiative and in a team capacity. All school staff are expected to engage in relevant CPD and respect the school ethos. SNAs may be assigned to any SNA role in the school at the discretion of the Principal.

Applicants should have experience of supporting pupils with complex care needs, sensory needs, challenging behaviours, communication difficulties and intimate care needs. Knowledge and experience of working with children with ASD and facilitating integration of pupils to mainstream classes is required.

Appointment is subject to current Garda vetting requirements, occupational health screening and completion of Children First online training.
