The successful SNA will be committed to supporting the care, inclusion and educational development of pupils with additional needs in an ASD class setting. A strong commitment to fostering an inclusive school environment is desirable.
The ideal candidate will be flexible, adaptable and responsive to the individual needs of pupils and the wider school community. They will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
Experience working with children with additional needs in either a special class or mainstream educational setting is highly desirable.
Candidates must be willing to undertake CPD courses which relate to the needs of the children & the school.
Appointment is subject to current Garda Vetting requirements and Occupational Health Screening.
