Additional Information:
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and registered teachers for a fixed-term teaching position for the 2026/2027 school year. This position arises from an approved job-share arrangement and involves partnering with a permanent teacher who will be working on a job-share basis during the 2026/2027 school year.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the permanent teacher to ensure continuity of learning, planning, assessment, and pupil support. Strong communication, flexibility, and a willingness to engage fully in school life are essential.
The following experience, skills and attributes are advantageous:
• Experience supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including sensory, communicative, emotional, behavioural and significant care needs.
• Experience supporting pupils with ASD or ADHD or DSD pupils in mainstream or SET classrooms.
• Knowledge of, and experience contributing to, the development, implementation and review of Primary Care Plans (PCPs) and pupil support plans.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to work effectively and afford time with school staff, parents and external professionals.
• A commitment to supporting the dignity, wellbeing and holistic development of every pupil.
• Relevant training and/or experience in areas such as autism, communication supports, occupational therapy-informed approaches, and behavioural supports.
