An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

South Abbey National School invites applications from suitably qualified teachers for the vacancies outlined below.
Applicants must be willing to teach in all areas of the school environment:
• Mainstream Class Teacher posts
• ASD Special Class Teacher posts
• Special Education Teacher posts
• EAL Teacher posts
Vacancies include:
• Temporary Fixed Term positions x3 (typically 12 month contracts subject to DE approval / September census confirmation)
• Specified Purpose Substitute positions x5 (ranging from 2 months to 10 months)
Candidates must be willing to teach the Follow Me religious programme.
Candidates should submit the relevant documentation outlined in this advert in PDF format only (this is to avoid possible software issues opening the attachments).
Once shortlisting has been conducted we will contact those who have been selected for interview.
