Longford and Westmeath Education and Training Board now invites applications from suitably qualified persons for the following post:
• 1 x Mainstream Teacher (Maternity Leave Replacement) (commencing 27/08/2026
Application forms can also be obtained from the vacancy section of LWETB’s website by visiting www.lwetb.ie
You must submit a copy of your current Teaching Council registration document with your completed application form.
One application form completed in either the English or Irish version is sufficient.
Completed application forms should be returned by email to recruitment@lwetb.ie no later than Wednesday 1st July 2026 at 13.00 hours.
Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
