Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
The vacant post is for a 0.99 post and is subject to NCSE review, as with all SNA posts. This post is also subject to approval from the Patron and the Department of Education and Youth.
Knowledge and experience of working with children with physical, sensory, learning and complex additional needs is desirable. Our school has two autism classes and this role may require the successful candidate to work in one of those classes.
Candidates should be enthusiastic, energetic, flexible and be able to work on their own initiative as well as in a team capacity.
A minimum FETAC level 5 qualification is required.
The successful candidates will also be required to participate in in-school training and planning outside of school hours (Croke Park hours). He or she should be available to attend school on Wednesday 26th August.
The successful candidates will be expected to respect the confidentiality of the pupils and of school matters at all times and to respect and uphold the school's Catholic ethos.

Appointment is subject but not limited to current Garda vetting requirements, occupational health screening, satisfactory references and completion of the online TUSLA Children's First training.

Only those candidates shortlisted for interview will be contacted (by email).
Interviews are provisionally scheduled for Tuesday 14th July.
