Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Post 1 Mainstream 0.5(16 hours a week)
Post 2 0.83 ( Infant Hours)arises from the establishment of a Special Class in September 2026
Successful candidates will demonstrate flexibility, initiative, professionalism, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team supporting pupils with additional care and educational needs.
The following experience, skills, and qualities are desirable:
• Previous experience supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including sensory, communication, emotional, behavioural, and significant care requirements.
• Experience working with pupils with Autism in both special class and mainstream school environments.
• Knowledge of, and experience in contributing to, the development, implementation, and review of Primary Care Plans (PCPs) and individual pupil support plans.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships and work effectively with school staff, parents/guardians, and external professionals.
Candidates should be willing to participate in ongoing professional development and undertake relevant training to meet the needs of pupils and the school community.
Appointment is subject to current Garda Vetting requirements and occupational health screening.
Applicants who are members of the SNA Supplementary Assignment Panel and hold supplementary assignment rights must submit a certified copy of their completed Panel Form (PF1) with their application.
