Fermoy Educate Together National School is inviting applications for the role of Principal Teacher. As an equality-based, co-educational, child-centred, and democratically-run national school, we are seeking a leader who shares and embodies the core values of the Educate Together ethos.


The ideal candidate will: Demonstrate a deep understanding of and commitment to the Educate Together principles. Show proven leadership experience with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Be committed to fostering a nurturing, inclusive, and innovative learning environment. Be knowledgeable in curriculum development, school self-evaluation, and the effective use of data for school improvement. Be a strong advocate for collaborative decision-making and shared leadership. Demonstrate a high level of competency in organisational management and policy implementation.

Requirements: Fully qualified primary school teacher, recognised by the Teaching Council of Ireland. Additional qualifications or experience in school leadership are desirable.
