St. Joseph's Special School invites applications from enthusiastic, committed, and child-centred teachers to join our dedicated team.
We currently have the following vacancies:
2 Permanent Teaching Posts
1 Full-Time Fixed-Term Teaching Post (1 School Year)
The successful candidates will have:
Appropriate Teaching Council Registration
Knowledge and understanding of the Primary School Curriculum, Junior Cycle, and Senior Cycle Level 1 and Level 2 Programmes.
An understanding of the Relate Programme and a Low Arousal Approach.
Experience of, or a strong desire to work with, pupils with Moderate Intellectual Disabilities and Autistic learners.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with a willingness to collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team.
A passion for supporting learners to achieve their full potential.
An understanding of how to respond to behaviours that challenge in a supportive, positive, and child-focused manner.
We are seeking teachers who are committed to creating an inclusive, nurturing, and engaging learning environment where every student can thrive.
