An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Offaly School of Special Education caters for pupils aged 4-18 with moderate, severe and profound learning difficulties.
This vacancy is for a position in a severe and profound multiple disability class. Experience in this type of setting would be desirable but is not essential. However, enthusiasm and commitment are essential. The teacher will lead a team of 4 SNAs and will also work closely with a nurse.
This vacancy arises from an approved one-year Carer's Leave and is expected to be for the duration of the 2026/2027 school year.
Interviews are expected to be held during the week commencing 6th July.
Canvassing will disqualify.
