Offaly School of Special Education is a special school catering for pupils aged 4-18 with autism and complex needs. The school has a Catholic ethos and is under the patronage of the Bishop of Meath.

We are seeking applications for the following posts:

1 full-time permanent post.
1 part-time permanent post (0.5 hours/ 16 hours a week on a 2 day and 3-day alternate week)
2 fixed term full-time posts

Experience of working with people with autism, intellectual disability and behaviours which challenge in a special school/special class environment is essential. Additional relevant qualifications/courses (e.g. positive behaviour support training, CPI or equivalent, AAC devices, first aid, administration of emergency medication etc.) would be desirable.

Applicants who are entitled to Supplementary Panel Rights are requested to submit their PF1 form with their application.

Appointment is subject to current Garda Vetting requirements, Occupational Health Screening, and satisfactory references.
