Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
St. Dympna's National School will have 4 SNA positions for September 2026.
2 Positions will be for an infant day (until 2pm). 0.83
1 Position will be for a half day (until 12:30pm) 0.5
1 Position will be for one day a week. Ideally this day would be Tuesday of each week but can be discussed further with the successful candidate.
Please indicate in your letter of application which of the above positions you would be interested in. If more than one is of interest please state this.
We are an inclusive school with a dedicated and welcoming staff. We are seeking people who enjoy working as part of a team but can work independently when the need arises.
Experience of working in Autism classes or with children with a diagnosis of Autism is desirable.
Successful candidates may be deployed in either a mainstream or autism classroom setting.
Interviews will take place on Saturday the 27th of June.
