An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

1 Developing Post.
*Developing Post: has potential for Permanent status: it remains a ‘Temporary-Fixed term’ post until the DES confirm our enrolment figures on 30th Sept 2026 with proviso positions are not required by the DES for the panel, it will become a Permanent post open for interview.

Mainstream Class Teacher(x2-1st Class or Third Class) & SET (1)

Desirable Skills include:
* Experience of teaching in First or Third classroom or Continuum of Support SET.
* Experience of team teaching and working collaboratively with colleagues.
* An understanding of universal design for learning and what this looks like in practice in the classroom.
*Appreciation of Nurture Schooling/Restorative Practice.
* Experience of working with children with ASD/ADHD in the Mainstream setting.
* Appreciation of the Educate Together ethos.
* Knowledge and experience of working in a Developing School setting.
* Flexibility and teamwork skills.

Interviews are envisioned to take place from the week of the 2nd of July.

All new employees must be Garda Vetted under the new arrangements made with the Teaching Council. We must have proof of this before a teacher is allowed to take up work. Teachers will also have to complete OHS with Medmark prior to taking up the role.
