The Board of Management of South Lee Educate Together NS invites applications for the following position for the 2026/2027 school year:

One Part Time Fixed Term Additional Needs Assistant (ANA)/Special Needs Assistant (SNA) Position:
- One Job-Share Position

This position is subject to NCSE allocation and Department of Education & Youth sanction.

South Lee ETNS is a developing school. We are an inclusive, child-centred school operating under the patronage of Educate Together. In South Lee ETNS, every child will learn in a positive, safe, inclusive, democratic, co-educational setting that is committed to enabling and supporting each child to recognise their gifts and to achieve their full potential, while at the same time preparing them to become caring and active members of a culturally diverse society.

The successful candidates may be assigned to support children in mainstream classes, autism classes and/or additional education settings in accordance with the care and support needs of the school.

Applicants should demonstrate:
- A commitment to inclusive education and the wellbeing of all children
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Flexibility, initiative and a willingness to respond to the evolving needs of children and the school
- An understanding of the importance of promoting children's dignity, independence, participation and belonging
- A willingness to support and uphold the Educate Together ethos
- A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional standards

The following experience would be desirable:
- Supporting children with additional educational needs
- Supporting children with primary care needs
- Supporting children in autism classes and/or inclusive educational settings
- Working as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Supporting children's communication, regulation, participation and independence

Appointment will be subject to:
* Satisfactory references
* Current and continued Garda Vetting requirements
* Verification of qualifications and experience
