Cork ETB invites applications from suitably qualified persons for the post of Administrative Principal of Carrigaline Community Special School under a Permanent Contract of Employment to commence on 1st August 2026.

Carrigaline Community Special School provides an appropriate education for students, aged 4 to 18 years old, who have a diagnosis of Autism with a Mild or Moderate General Learning Disability. Applicants must meet the following criteria:

· Be fully registered with the Teaching Council under Route 1 (Primary), Route 4 (Other) or Route 2 (Post Primary) with the Teaching Council

· 5 years recognised teaching service, two of which must be in a recognised primary or post primary school within the Republic of Ireland.

· Significant experience with children who have a diagnosis of Autism/Autistic Spectrum Disorders and/or Special Education Needs is desirable.

· A post-graduate qualification in Special Education is desirable. Cork ETB operates an online recruitment system.
