An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

1 X 0.83 hours (infant day) position

The successful candidates are expected to carry out duties as per circulars 0030/2014 and 0032/2026.

We are looking for individuals who can be flexible and responsive to the needs of the children and the school. We invite those who are energetic, enthusiastic, can contribute to our team and work on his/her own initiative. Candidates must be willing to undertake CPD courses which relate to the needs of the children & the school. Experience working with children with Autism, emotional / behavioural needs, ADHD, and intimate care needs is desirable.

The successful candidates can be allocated to any SNA role in the school at any time, at the discretion of the school principal. This includes mainstream classes as well as our autism classes. The positions are subject to NCSE allocation and SENO review.

Appointment is subject to current Garda Vetting requirements, Occupational Health Screening and satisfactory references. Applicants who are deemed to be members of the SNA Supplementary Panel with supplementary panel rights, must furnish a certified copy of a completed Panel Form (PF1) with their application.
