Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
The post is pending confirmation of SNA allocation from the NCSE. The role will entail working with a number of children in either an autism class setting or mainstream.
Experience desirable in medical conditions such as diabetes, epilepsy, heart conditions or other. Experience also desirable in working with children with a diagnosis of Autism, Down Syndrome ADHD, DCD, Speech and Language Difficulties, and managing behaviours of concern. Candidates must be able to work well as part of a team,be good communicators, be flexible, display a strong
work ethic and demonstrate a willingness to engage in further training. The role will also include additional additional Croke
Park hours.
Please include all required documentation and a copy of a current Statutory Declaration. Please include Panel Form if applicable. Appointment will be subject to Garda vetting and occupational
health screening. Initial duties may be subject to change.
