Applications are invited for the position of Special Needs Assistant (SNA) in Nano Nagle College, Farranree, Cork. There are two permanent positions arising from the opening of a new ASD Special Class, and the posts are commencing on August 26th, 2026.
The positions can only be filled in accordance with DES regulations and pending approval of the Department of Education & Skills and the Board of Management of Nano Nagle College.
The minimum required standard of education for appointment to an SNA post is a QQI Level 3 qualification on the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ), or three Grade Ds in the Junior Cert or equivalent.
Relevant experience of post primary school students with ASD is desirable.
Please submit a letter of application and a CV by 12pm on Friday, June 5th, 2026 to principal@nanonaglecollege.ie with "SNA application (ASD)" as the email subject.
The CV should include qualifications, relevant competencies, experience and two references.
Shortlisting may apply and only those shortlisted will be contacted. Canvassing will disqualify.
Provisional interview dates the week of June 8th, 2026.
