Sligo School Project is an urban DEIS Band 1 multi-denominational school under independent patronage, affiliated to Educate Together.
This is a permanent post for a teaching principal, starting on 1st of September.
At Sligo School Project we have developed a unique learning environment that caters for a highly diverse school population. The incoming principal needs to be able and willing to engage with children and families from all social backgrounds.
The school follows a concept of multi-grade classes. Our teaching is heavily orientated towards differentiation. Children are afforded multiple opportunities to take part in activities across age groups, and to follow their own interests and talents. As the principal in our school, you need to be able and willing to maintain this concept and guide incoming staff in its practical application.
As the principal of Sligo School Project, you need to be able and willing to sustain the characteristic spirit of the school.
We are looking for a passionate educator, able and willing to be part of a successful team with an established tradition of collaboration, open and honest communication.
