An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
The Red Door School is seeking to appoint two SNA posts for fixed-term position until the end of the August 2027. These positions will start 26th August 2026.
One position is to fill a post created by job-share.
One position is to fill a post created by career break.
The Red Door School is a school for children with Autism and complex needs. Experience working with children with ASD in a special school setting will be a distinct advantage. The successful applicant should demonstrate experience and competency in the use of augmentative communication and assistive teaching technologies for pupils with ASD, knowledge of the ethos of The Red Door School, demonstrate the ability to work within a team, have experience working from behavioural support plans and managing behaviours of concern.
