Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Vacancy 1-arises from a job share arrangement within our school (two SNAs on staff job sharing).
Vacancy 2- is the result of career break sanction.
Both positions are full time SNA hours.
Both positions will involve duties between special class and mainstream settings. Our special classes cater for deaf/hard of hearing pupils. The primary language of our special class pupils is Irish Sign Language (ISL).
Experience of ISL is desireable but not essential.
Experience of managing challenging behaviour is also desireable but not essential.
