An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Enable Ireland Sandymount School invites applications from suitable qualified candidates for the position of Special Needs Assistants. Our school caters for pupils from ages 4-18 years with physical and complex needs.
We seek kind, hard-working team players to join our school.

Applicants should also demonstrate a professional, flexible, self-motivated and caring approach to the role and display initiative in working with pupils with complex needs.
It would be desirable for candidates to have experience of working in a special school including working with pupils of all ages, assisting pupils with intimate care, feeding and accessing activities.
Additional relevant qualifications such as Lámh and manual handling would be desirable.
1 Standard SNA Post and 2 Fixed Term SNA Posts available.
