An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
The three fixed term post are as follows:
Two full time Fixed Term appointments.
One 0.5 Fixed term appointment that arises as part of a Job share.
The successful candidate will work as part of a dedicated team supporting pupils with additional care and educational needs, under the direction of the principal and class teachers.
Essential Requirements
• Relevant SNA qualifications in accordance with Department of Education requirements
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a school team
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility, reliability and a caring approach to supporting children
Appointment will be subject to:
• Satisfactory references
• Current Garda Vetting requirements
• Occupational health screening
