Additional Information:
Clare Family Resource Centre is currently recruiting an Early Years Educator to join our dedicated childcare team.
We provide high-quality care and education for children aged 1 year to school age. This role offers the opportunity to work across all age groups, from the Wobbler Room through to Preschool.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all children
- Support children through daily routines, care, and play experiences
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate, play-based learning activities
- Promote children’s physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe early years environment
- Build positive relationships and communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and management
- Work collaboratively as part of a professional early years team
Requirements:
- Minimum QQI Level 5 in Early Childhood Care and Education
- Previous experience in an early years or childcare setting
- A genuine passion for working with young children
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and complete required documentation
Desirable:
- QQI Level 6 or higher in Early Childhood Care and Education
- Additional relevant training or certifications
- Familiarity with Aistear, Síolta, and the AIM programme
Additional Information:
- Appointment is subject to satisfactory Garda Vetting
- Candidates must be willing to undertake, or provide evidence of, Children First training and other mandatory early years training
