The Board of Management of Guardian Angels' National School, under the patronage of the Catholic Archbishop of Dublin, invites applications for the position of Administrative Principal Teacher (permanent) commencing on Wednesday 26th August 2026.

Guardian Angels' aims to provide a safe, caring and stimulating learning environment. Our highly skilled and talented team provides a broad, child-centred curriculum tailored to the different learning styles of our pupils. We recognise that every child has a special talent and we will help him or her to develop that gift to its fullest potential. Above all, our school philosophy is underpinned by the value of respect for everyone.

The School's Leadership and Management Team consists of the Principal, Deputy Principal, two Assistant Principal I post holders and six Assistant Principal II post holders, working collaboratively to support the effective leadership and management of the staff, comprising 17 class teachers, 7 SET and 7 SNAs. In addition, the School is the base for the Blackrock Supply Panel, with 4 posts allocated.

Roles and responsibilities for this post relate to the four domains of Leadership and Management, as specified in Department of Education (DES) Circular 0044/2019:

1. Leading teaching and learning.
2. Managing the organisation.
3. Leading school development.
4. Developing leadership capacity.

A minimum of 3 valid applications will be required for the process of selection to proceed.
