An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
The Board of Management of St Patrick’s GNS, Hollypark invites applications for two Special Needs Assistant (SNA) positions. One position is a Standard Post, and one is a Temporary Post arising from a career break.

The successful candidate will:
• Show a strong commitment to supporting children in a respectful, inclusive and nurturing manner
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and make a positive contribution to the life of the school
• Actively support and promote the ethos and values of our school
• Have experience supporting pupils with additional needs, including autism and a range of medical care needs (such as catheterisation), or demonstrate a willingness to engage in relevant training and ongoing professional learning
• Hold a qualification appropriate to the SNA role
All appointments are subject to current vetting requirements, occupational health screening and satisfactory references. Completion of Children First training is a requirement for the successful candidate.
