The Board of Management of Scoil Sinéad Pelletstown National School, under the patronage of Scoil Sinéad Ltd, invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the permanent position of Principal Teacher, commencing on 3rd September 2026.
Scoil Sinéad Pelletstown National School is a developing, co-educational, multi-denominational primary school committed to inclusion, wellbeing, and high-quality teaching and learning.
The roles and responsibilities for this post relate to the four domains of Leadership and Management as specified in Chapter 4 of Circular 0044/2019 (as amended):
Leading Teaching and Learning
Managing the Organisation
Leading School Development
Developing Leadership Capacity
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
Proven leadership and management experience
A strong commitment to inclusive education and pupil wellbeing
Experience in school planning, policy development, and implementation
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
The ability to lead and work collaboratively with staff, parents, and the wider school community
Applicants must be:
Fully registered with the Teaching Council (Route 1 – Primary)
Have a minimum of 5 years recognised teaching experience
Appointment will be subject to:
Teaching Council registration
Satisfactory references
Garda vetting requirements
