The Board of Management of School of the Holy Spirit seeks applications from suitably qualified special needs assistants for the above position. School of the Holy Spirit is a special vertical school for children with a diagnosis of autism and/or complex behavioural needs. Enrolment is for students 5 yrs-18 yrs. There are 14 class teachers, 2 ETB teachers , 4 Supply Panel teachers, 33 SNA'S on the staff.
The ideal candidate must have at least 3 years experience working in a Special Class/Special School Setting. Experience with supporting students who are autistic is essential. Experience in Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI), Emotional Coaching, Lámh, Co-Regulation etc. desirable.
