Malahide Portmarnock ETSS is a co-educational, multi-denominational, equality-based post-primary school under the patronage of Education Together. The school has gone through a period of rapid growth and development since it opened in 2018. We are looking for teachers with all levels of experience who are committed to creating an inclusive school community where students are supported to reach their full potential and become active members of society. 

The Support Education Department in MPETSS is a well‑established, collaborative and student‑focused team committed to inclusive practice and high‑quality provision. We invite applications from appropriately qualified teachers with a recognised qualification in Special Education and a genuine passion for supporting students to reach their full potential.
The successful candidate will engage in co‑teaching, individual and group planning, and the delivery of targeted support to individual students and small groups. Teaching within our Special Classes will also form part of the role, working closely with colleagues to support students’ learning, wellbeing and independence.
The position involves regular liaison with parents/guardians, collaboration with the Student Support Team, SET Team, subject teachers and external professionals, and the maintenance of clear student support records.
We seek reflective, flexible practitioners who demonstrate strong communication skills, a commitment to inclusive education, and the ability to work effectively as part of a supportive and dynamic team.
