Scoil Mhichíl Naofa is a Vertical Co-Educational school under the Patronage of the Archbishop of Dublin. The Board of Management of Scoil Mhichíl Naofa invites applications for the position of Administrative Deputy Principal. This is a permanent position appointed through open competition in line with Circular 0044/2019 and Information Note 0008/2022.

The successful candidate will be an experienced educational leader who is:
- Committed to the Catholic ethos of the school and the values of the Mercy tradition: compassion, respect, inclusion, service, and justice and hold a recognised Certificate to teach Religious Education;
- A clear visionary to lead quality teaching and learning in a DEIS 1 context;
- Skilled in leadership, management and communication;
- Experienced in working with a large ISLM team, with strong delegation skills;
- Proficient in human resource management, including staff development and well-being;
- Committed to inclusive education, with proven capacity to lead and support Special Classes as well as mainstream provision;
- Experienced in DEIS planning, pastoral care, parental involvement and the promotion of positive behaviour strategies;
- Able to promote pupil voice and choice;
- Able to foster a collaborative and motivated school community.
