Portumna Community School seeks applications from suitably qualified applicants for the following post which may arise for the school year 2026/2027 subject to the approval of the Department of Education and Skills and subject to compliance with and the satisfactory outcome of the national vetting procedures; permanent Chaplaincy position. Applicants should be registered with the teaching council and hold a relevant qualification or equivalent.

4 completed application forms, addressed to the Secretary B.O.M., should reach the school in hard copy by post before 4 p.m. on Friday May 8th 2026. Completed application forms MUST be accompanied by Garda Vetting Disclosure and Teaching Council Registration.
