Harold’s Cross Educate Together Secondary School (HCETSS) opened in August 2020 in temporary accommodation on the site of the former Greyhound Racing Stadium, Harold’s Cross.

The construction of our permanent school building, which will accommodate 1000 students, is almost complete and we will move into our brand new school building in May 2026.

We are looking for a Teacher of Home Economics and other subjects for a maternity leave position.

As extra-curricular activities underpin much of our work in supporting strong relationships and team spirit, teachers in the school volunteer to offer a range of lunchtime clubs and after school sport and other activities.

The successful candidate must be a team player who displays the HCETSS team attributes of humility, commitment and common sense and who is willing to collaborate closely with colleagues in creating a vibrant learning environment.

The school will also offer a coaching and mentoring programme to support staff continuous professional development as well as building leadership capacity within our school. We also offer exceptional opportunities for teachers who wish to develop their own leadership skills and apply for posts of responsibility in our school.

Students in the school use devices and the integration of technology into learning and teaching will be an important element in the school's approach.
