Clongowes Wood College SJ is one of Ireland's oldest and most successful 7-day boarding schools for boys, situated 35km west of Dublin, in Co. Kildare. We are committed to the provision of the highest quality Catholic education in the Jesuit tradition.
We are seeking to recruit teachers for the next academic year in the above subjects and/or suitable combinations thereof.
The position is full-time, 1 year fixed-term with a possibility of permanency thereafter, subject to Garda vetting and a probationary period.
The successful candidate will teach all year groups from First to Sixth. Clongowes has a six-day teaching week with classes on Saturday until noon. All staff have a three or four-day weekend off every month in addition to the usual school breaks.
A willingness to be in involved in some aspect of our co-curricular programme will also be welcomed. The position is school-paid with a salary commensurate with a Department of Education post. The school has its own generous pension scheme.
