The Board of Management of Scoil Eoin invites applications for the position of
Principal Teacher, commencing Tuesday September 1st, 2026.
Scoil Eoin is a large, vibrant Catholic primary school under the patronage of St.
Senan’s Education Office. The successful candidate will be a leader who is
committed to the ethos of Catholic education and will work to nurture the faith
and learning community of the school in partnership with staff, parents, and the wider
community.
The Board seeks a Principal who will:
- Provide visionary leadership to guide the school into the next decade.
- Place children’s welfare, learning, and holistic development at the centre
of every decision.
- Demonstrate proven ability to lead teaching and learning, embedding
whole-school approaches that raise standards.
- Be an effective administrator and communicator, managing resources and
systems efficiently (including IT).
- Progress future building projects and proactively engage with the
Department and wider stakeholders.
- Empower and support a committed staff, fostering collaboration and
professional growth.
