The NCSE is now recruiting for the position of Autism & Behaviour and Wellbeing Advisor. Panels will be formed from which existing and future vacancies will be filled.
NCSE Behaviour and Wellbeing and Autism advisors work to deliver a multi-tiered model of teacher professional learning support in the area of behaviour for learning and wellbeing.
Behaviour and Wellbeing and Autism Advisors are part of the NCSE Autism, Behaviour and Wellbeing Inclusion team, led by two Specialist Leads and a National Development Lead. The team also includes Behaviour and Wellbeing Facilitators who provide sustained support to special schools to build capacity to include all students. This team provides support to schools on a nationwide basis.
The NCSE is presently undergoing a significant organisational expansion which will enhance the delivery of services. It has developed a service delivery strategy based on three fundamental values: community, inclusion, and excellence. The NCSE is determined to encourage all stakeholders to practice conscious inclusion and equity-mindedness. Working for the NCSE entails actively contributes to the advancement of inclusive education, ensuring that all students, regardless of their needs, receive the individualized support they require to completely participate in their day-to-day school activities. In the role of Advisor, your role is directly to directly related to building teacher capacity in schools to support the inclusion of students. You will collaborate with a diverse group of stakeholders, including students and policymakers, to drive positive change in the education sector.
