Teach in Sweden

Internationella Engelska Skolan (IES) is now recruiting the very best teachers to start in early August 2026. We are seeking primary and post-primary teachers to join our fantastic working environment.

We are looking for teachers of the following subjects:
- Art & Textiles
- Home Economics
- Mathematics
- Music
- Physical Education
- Science
- Woodwork (Craft and Design)

IES is a highly successful school group in Sweden with students receiving high grades and a diverse and energetic staff. We have around 31,000 students enrolled in our 47 schools across the country with approximately 3,700 members of staff. IES is non-selective and students do not pay fees to attend school. Our schools follow the Swedish national curriculum and are bilingual with 50% of teaching in Swedish and up to 50% in English.

IES provides an international and stimulating environment, where commitment, professionalism and the English language are common denominators. We work in an environment where teachers can teach and students can learn.
