An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

The successful candidate must have:
-Practical knowledge of roofing, plumbing and basic electrical work
- Experience in general maintenance, painting and ground keeping skills.
- Excellent DIY skills.
- An ability to take direction and to show initiative.
- A solid understanding of various Health & Safety procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities to Include:
- General upkeep of the school building and grounds.
- Maintenance of outdoor spaces.
- Upkeep and renewal of paintwork.
- Identification of tasks/duties to be carried out in consultation with the Principal/Board of Management.
