An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
The Fixed Term MCT position in Kilcummin N.S. is to cover for the remainder of the school year 2025/26. The position is a full time Mainstream Class position initially, but this may be subject to change.
Applicants must have a certificate to teach RE. Understanding and commitment to the ethos of a Catholic school is also essential.
The following are advantageous:
Knowledge of the SEN model, ICT and team teaching.
Knowledge of evidence based interventions, assessment and planning.
A willingness to promote and participate in the life and extra curricular activities of the school, particularly well-being, Green Schools, sport, active schools, JEP, fundraising and a commitment and understanding of rural communities.
