We are seeking a School Transport Bus Escort to assist three children with an Autism diagnosis during their daily journeys to and from school. 4 hours per day (2 in the morning and 2 in the afternoon.) 20 hours per week in total, Monday - Friday - term time only. Escorts are not paid over the school holidays but receive holiday pay instead. Salary: determined by the Department of Education.
The ideal candidate will be reliable and have experience/a good understanding of working with children with additional needs. Working professionally with school staff is also an important requirement. The position is subject to Garda Vetting and the successful candidate must provide a statutory declaration before commencing work on the route.
