An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up from which future vacancies (including cover SNA vacancies) may be filled (valid for the duration of the school year).
Key competencies:
1. Ability to support diverse SEN needs, including emotional regulation, sensory needs, behavioural challenges, medical needs and intimate care/toileting.
2. Strong safety awareness and supervision skills, including managing flight-risk pupils and following safeguarding procedures.
3. Effective collaboration and communication, working closely with teachers, parents, and SETs to implement IEPs and behaviour support plans.
4. Calm, patient, and adaptable approach, maintaining professionalism, dignity, and inclusion for all pupils.
