An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Applications are invited for suitably qualified persons for the position of Special Needs Assistant commencing on 5th January 2026 to the end of the academic year. Knowledge and experience of working with ASD is advantageous.
Additional qualifications or courses (e.g. First Aid, Manual Handling, Positive Behaviour Support Strategies, PEG feeding, PECS, TEACCH, LÁMH, etc) would be of great benefit.
Candidates must have a strong work ethic, respect the ethos of the school, work well as part of a team and be willing to avail of relevant training. This post is subject to Garda vetting and health screening.
