Bheadh eolas agus taithí ar oibriú le ASD ina bhuntáiste.
Bheadh buntáiste mór ag baint le cúram leanaí breise agus/nó cáilíochtaí nó cúrsaí ábhartha eile (m.sh. Garchabhair, Láimhsiú, Straitéisí Tacaíochta um Iompar Dearfach, Diaibéiteas, Titimeas, PECS, TEACCH, LÁMH, srl).
Caithfidh eitic oibre láidir a bheith ag iarrthóirí, meas a bheith acu ar éiteas na scoile, oibriú go maith mar chuid d’fhoireann agus a bheith toilteanach leas a bhaint as oiliúint ábhartha.
Beidh buntáiste ann d'iarrathóirí le cumas ghaeilge.
Applications are invited for suitably qualified persons for the position of Special Needs Assistant commencing on 5th January 2026 to the end of the academic year. Knowledge and experience of working with ASD is advantageous.
Additional childcare and/or other relevant qualifications or courses (e.g. First Aid, Manual Handling, Positive Behaviour Support Strategies, Diabetes, Epilepsy, PECS, TEACCH, LÁMH, etc) would be of great benefit.
Candidates must have a strong work ethic, respect the ethos of the school, work well as part of a team and be willing to avail of relevant training. Basic fluency in Gaeilge is advantageous. This post is subject to Garda vetting and health screening. Interviews for this position will take place on Wednesday, 26th November.
