This is a P.E post for 2 hours a week working with students aged 12-18 years old in St Anthony's Special School which caters for students with Mild General Learning Disability and other disabilities such as Autism, ADHD, Physical Disabilities and various syndromes. We are a warm, welcoming and inclusive school and any interested applicants are welcome to come to visit us first. The previous post holder taught in all the 4 Special schools in Mayo- St Anthony's SS, St Brid's SS, St Dympna's SS and St Nicholas SS and so if any interested parties want to apply for all schools they would possibly get additional hours. Currently P.E is taught on a Fridays but we are flexible on this. The successful applicant must be registered with the teaching council and be available to start during the week of 1/12/2025.
