An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

We are seeking a reliable and caring School Transport Bus Escort to assist children enrolled in our autism classes during their daily journeys to and from school.
Hours:
Morning shift: 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM
Afternoon shift: 1:30 PM – 3:30PM
(4hours per day, 20 hours per week in total, Monday to Friday – term time only)

The ideal candidate will have experience in working with children, have an understanding of additional needs, and be able to work with parents and school staff in a professional manner. They must also be available to work in keeping with the school calendar (182 school days).

Salary Scale: hourly rate as determined by the Department of Education and Skills (€15.20 per hour) processed weekly during school term time. Escorts are not paid over school holidays but receive holiday pay instead.
